Manufacture
From initial concept through to print and finish, we can help you achieve the branding to complement your business.
Due to the uniqueness of each board, we generally print them all digitally on wide format UV printers. This provides a low cost and fast solution to producing your signage. If however you require certain colours or effects that are not possible to produce digitally, we can also manufacture your signs either by screen printing or in vinyl. Examples may include metallic colours or reflective boards.
Boards are printed onto 4mm correx, conforming to regulatory requirements and then heat welded together before being cut and drilled to your required specification.
Installation
Having started in 1998, we’ve had a lot of practise at looking after your boards. We continually strive to raise our sign fitting standards and embrace new technologies as they arrive.
Orders are placed either through our web site or mobile app. Both geotag your orders and place all your boards on a google map interface. A live board list is automatically maintained as you update us with new orders. Additional bespoke post tags, unique text alerts and QR codes are all available through the online ordering system.
Our 15 full time sign fitters cover all of Greater London in tracked vehicles giving us instant access to their whereabouts and time of sign fixing.

Bespoke Ordering System
Using state of the art technology, you can place board orders 24 hours a day 7 days a week through either our on-line ordering system or mobile app available for both Apple and Android devices.
The moment you place an order it is seamlessly transmitted to our warehouse where your order is prepared for the fitters to complete.
Once complete, an automated email can be sent to your designated in-box ensuring you are made aware of when instructions are completed or if any issues have arisen.
With an open API, our board ordering system can easily be connected to by other third party software systems, removing the need for negotiators to use multiple systems to ensure your board presence is kept to an optimum.
Regulation 7 Directive
It started with Westminster introducing controlled areas where agency boards are not permitted without express planning consent. The government introduced the Regulation 7 Directive to control these areas. Since then the Directive has been adopted by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Camden, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Wandsworth.
Xpress Signs have a list of in excess of 13,000 unique post codes covering these areas where boards are effectively banned. Our on-line board ordering system automatically checks all requests against this list and will prevent your boards from being installed. With the increase in online and hybrid agents together with more traditional agents covering larger geographical areas, local knowledge of exactly where boards are permitted can be difficult leading to potential fines and legal proceedings for repeat offenders. Our software effectively removes that difficulty by screening out problem addresses.
